CESS works beside the solar you already own.
CESS is a software layer. It reads your solar plant, your site meter and the battery, and sends dispatch commands to the battery's inverter. Your existing array stays as it is. At our pilot site it runs against a Huawei FusionSolar plant with a Deye battery inverter.
Only what we have installed, and what we are installing.
This list is short on purpose. A pairing goes on it as running when CESS has run on it at a real site, and not before.
Huawei FusionSolar + Deye
Our pilot site · food manufacturing · Bangkok
The site's solar plant was already in place when we connected. CESS reads it, and dispatches the battery we added beside it.
Huawei FusionSolar + Solis
A second, larger site
Designed to work beside the site's existing Huawei FusionSolar plant, many times the size of the pilot's. It moves to running when it is commissioned and has data behind it.
Read what you have. Control what we add.
We connect only as far as we need to measure the site, control the battery and recover surplus solar.
Your plant and your meter
Solar output from your inverters' monitoring, grid import and export at the site meter, and the battery's own state. PJJ Forecast works from this.
The battery's inverter
Charge and discharge, set by PJJ Dispatch against your tariff and the forecast. This is the only equipment CESS sends commands to.
Your existing array
Your panels, your solar inverters and their settings stay exactly as they were installed. CESS only reads data from them. Surplus that would have been curtailed goes into the battery instead. PJJ Recover explains how.
Not on the list is not a no.
Two sites means two battery inverter brands so far, and we fit whichever suits the site and can be supplied. Both come from the same supplier.
We confirm compatibility during the feasibility stage, before you have signed anything.
If your solar plant or meter exposes a usable interface, we can almost certainly work with it. If it does not, the feasibility report says so, along with what it would take.Find out whether CESS fits your site.
Twelve months of billing data, and we will model your load, size the system and show you the whole financial case, including when the answer is not to build.
